Monty Folk
To kickstart the musical events of the day Monty Folk will happily play anywhere, from street corner busking to medieval banquets and blend a lively mix of folk music of the British Isles as well as the odd Breton and Hungarian tune thrown in.

Montgomeryshire Youth Music
MYM is a music charity based in Welshpool. We offer a range of ensembles and musical experiences to children and young adults across the county. We play anything from classical to folk but most of all we enjoy just having fun and making music.

Ffonic
We are Newtown’s Community Folk band, and we play for ceilidhs, parties, weddings, civic functions, festivals, garden parties, outdoor fairs and even the odd posh reception. We play folk tunes of the British Isles plus world music and music written by band members, with the emphasis on strong melody lines and punchy rhythm.
